Dr. Picciotto was kind enough to meet our WiSE members and give an honest talk about her journey in science and life. In our discussion with Dr. Picciotto, she really delved into her scientific journey from high school to college at Stanford, to her graduate years at Rockefeller University, as well as her postdoctoral career in Paris at the Pasteur Institute. She was hired as a faculty at Yale in 1995 and is there present day. Even though she had setbacks, she still pushed forward and was incredibly thankful for them.
